One of the major inventions in the 20th century is the 3D Technology and over the years, the World has experienced a lot of advancement from just the 3D Graphics design to 3D Printing. While the 3D graphics has been around since the 1970s, the 3D Printing evolved in the early 1980s with the invention of two additive methods for fabricating three-dimensional plastic models with photo-hardening thermoset polymer, where the UV exposure area is controlled by a mask pattern or a scanning fiber transmitter by a Japanese Designer whose name is Hideo Kodama of Nagoya Municipal Industrial Research Institute. Since then, different processes have been invented which include stereolithography in 1984, fused deposition modeling in 1988, the Powder Bed Process in 1993, the selective laser melting process in 1995, The vertically integrated printed electronics additive manufacturing platform (VIPRE) which enabled 3D printing of functional electronics operating up to 40GHz in 2014 and then the 3D Metal Printing in 2017. While the 3D Printing has been around for Decades, It has been more accustomed to the Printing Prototypes made of Plastics because of affordability, durability and speed. Though it is possible to do 3D Metal Printing before now, doing so is difficult and pricey but with the invention of 3D Metal Printing machines, 3D Metal Printing is made easy at an affordable rate.
